LITIGATION ENDED SUM FOR DISTANT RELATIVES NEW YORK, June 30 The litigation in connection -with the estate of the late Ella Wendel, who died in March, 1931, aged 80, ended to-day, when Surrogate Foley approved of a settlement granting 2.125,000 dollars to nine distant relatives.. In all, 2300 persons from all parts of the world had lodged claims. The fortune, which was composed of interests in certain areas in Manhattan, was valued a year ago at between £10,000,000 and £20,000,000.
