Second round: Baker, 12, v. Sullivan, 2: Dixon, G. v. Mrs. Boles, fi. Dixon won the play-off. Third round: Sullivan, 9, v. Dixon, 1; Baker, a bye. Fourth round: Sullivan, 8, v, Baker, 7 Finnl.—Mount Albert 1.0. U. (J. Bridges, A. Cochrane, TC. B. Brodie, H. .T, Baker), !), v. Court Victoria A.O.F. (I?. Scotland, T. Williams, F. Flinn. F. Sullivnn). 7. Mount Albert won the Taylor Holplie Cup, the previous holders being Court Victoria. NEW HAMILTON SEASON [fkom our own correspondent! HAMILTON, Friday The Hamilton Indoor Bowling Club commenced its third season last evening, the principal speaker at the opening ceremony being the Mayor, Mr. J, It. Fow, who commented on the fact that many young men had taken up the game. Mr. Fow called on Mrs. Curteis, wife of the president of the f club, Mr. W. A. Curteis, to throw the first jack and send down the first bowl. The "green" was then declared by Mr. Fow officiolly open and the rest of tho evening was devoted to play. Formed two years ago, the club hap attained considerable success and players from practically every bowling club in Hamilton ore included among its members. It is the intention of the club committee to arrange competitions and Saturday afternoon tournaments shortly.
