The final meeting for the year of the Lyceum Club musical circle was held oil Monday evening, Mrs. W. H. Parkes presiding. A dramatic fantasy entitled " A Lovely Miracle," was given by Mrs. M. Hovey, Miss C. L. Chalmers, Miss Maisie Free and Mr. Geoff Bentley, the musical ability of the players being much appreciated by the audience. Ari entertaining competition was won by Miss 'liarks. _ The guest of the evening, Miss Maida Hooker, who has been a valued member of the circle for some years, on the occasion of her approaching marriage was made the recipient of a handsome piece of china, Mrs. Parkes making the presentation. A vote of thanks to the performers was proposed by Mrs. Parkes, after which supper was served in the lounge.
