ORDER OF FORESTERS

Court Maid Marian No. 7596, ladies' branch of the Ancient Order of Foresters, marked the occasion of their installation of officers and presentation of honours to the retiring Chief Ranger by an open night held in the Foresters' .Hall, Albert Street. Brother Darlow, District Secretary, and Sister Gubb, P.C.R., acted as presenting officers, installing Sister Stych as Chief Ranger, together with her various subordinate, officers. The visitors, representing the district office, Courts Edith Cavcll, Balmoral, City of Auckland, Birkenhead, Henderson, Newmarket and New Lynn, were cordially welcomed Sister Stych, Brother Myers. C.R., of Court Birkenhead, responding. Presentation of her Past Chief Ranger honours, the sash and certificate, was mado to Sister Spalding by Brother Darlow, who spoke of the very high esteem in which the sister was held. The social part of the evening was in charge of the committee, who presented an enjoyable programme of novel dances and games. The music was supplied by Sister Leece.
