THE WRITERS' CLUB

Great Britain had complied with these terms, but other nations had increased their fighting forces, thus hampering (lie efforts for peace of the Leaguo of Nations. "We are faced," said Air. Alonckton, "with the choice of the old fighting method, breeding suspicion and distrust and the new method <>f co-operation and mutual goodwill, which, alone, will bring peace and prosperity to the world." During the week a social evening was given in honour of Aliss Lorna Crump, who leaves shortly for a trip to England. Tho programme was provided by junior members. During the evening Airs.
