CONCERT AND DANCE

In order to raise funds for the Devonport Unemployed Association's annual Christmas tree, a concert party from 11.M.5. Veronica gave a most enjoyable concert and dance in the Parish Hall at Devonport on Saturday evening bv (he courtesy of Captain W. L. Jackson, D.5.0., R.N. Tho concert, which occupied tho first part of the evening, was carried out in true nautical fashion, and included songs, recitations and short sketches, which were given by Air. H. Berry, Air. A. Thomas, Air. B. Jackman, Air. L. Barton, and Air. S. Bickerdiko. For tho dance which followed, tho Veronica dance band played popular numbers.
