ANGLERS' INVESTIGATIONS Dr. A. J. Spillor Brandon, president of tho New South Wales Rod Fishers' Society, announces that it is tho intention of his committeo to Keek accurate data regarding tho age and rate of growth of brown and rainbow trout in the State. Later, as opportunity offers, it proposes to extend its inquiries to cover other fish. Last season Dr. Brandon and friends caught and "tagged" a number of trout in the Badja River. They measured and weighed each fish before releasing it. Each fish h?.d a coloured celluloid disc fastened to it by silver wire, and it is hoped that tho catchers of these fish are asked to return them again to the stream unhurt, after noting date of capture, weight and measurements.
