The nikurangi Homing Pigeon Club held its sixth yearling average race, when 00 birds were liberated. The race was from To Kuiti to Hikurangi, an airline distance of IDG miles. Results -Messrs. An entry of 107 birds was received for the pigeon flying contest conducted by tho Hamilton Homing Pigeon Flying Club on Saturday. The race was between Taumarunui and Hamilton. TE All OH A CLUB [from our own correspondent] TE AROHA. Monday The Te Aroha Racing Pigeon Club flew a race from Wellington during the week-end. an airline distance of 265 miles. Although the weather conditions were most unsettled the birds covered the distance in eight hours and arrived homo all in fair condition. Results;-- J.
