BRETONS AND BERETS
Breton sailor hats are very fashionable at the moment. But the very tiny, very turned-up style is not good. To be right, the Breton sailor must have a shallow crown and a narrow though not too small brim. The best trimming is a plain band of petersham ribbon with a stiff but not flat bow, or a row of small flowers packed just under the back of the brim.
