PASSENGERS' EXPERIENCES

WASHED FROM THEIR CABINS SYDNEY, Aug. 16 The Maunganui, which arrived at Sydney from Wellington early this morning, encountered very rough weather during the crossing.

Dr. P. Marshall, consulting geologist to the New Zealand Public Works Department, was washed out of his cabin when the portholes were broken. Two women passengers had a similar experience.
