" An artillery brigade, supported the insurgents. Many arrests were made, in- • eluding sons of former members of the nobility. The rebels entered the Ministry of 1 Communications and also raided the War Office, but were driven out. 1 Communications abroad were cut off but have been re-established. Several ' people were killed or injured. ' Disorders arc also threatened elsewhere. '' The. Ministry of the Interior announces that the situation throughout the country . is under control. The War Office was the principal centre of the disturbance, the police and Civil Guard ejecting the raiders t after much firing on both sides, r The attackers then fled, leaving several I dead and wounded.
