VICTORIA LEAGUE

MEN'S COMMITTEE DANCE AT PETER PAN Tho ability of men to organise a dance successfully was fully demonstrated last evening, when the men's committee of tho Victoria League held a danco in the Peter Pan Cabaret in aid of the committee funds. The cabaret, with its shaded lights, which constantly changed in colour, looked most attractive,, whilo in front of tho new orchestral grotto was placed in a prominent position an enlargement of tho Victoria League badge with red, white and blue streamers drawn back to <ho walls at each side. Ihe organisation of the danco was excellently carried out, members of tho committee undertaking Tho duties of ushers, announcers and cubiclo attendants with capable zeal. On arrival tho guests wero announced by Mr. R. Norris and Mr. M. Hutchison, and wero received by Miss Mowbray, president of tho league, and Mr. Townley Little, chairman of tho men's committee. Prior to tho commencement of tho danco Miss Mowbray was prosented with a charming bouquet of violets and anemones by tho men of tho committee. Among those present were: Miss Mowbray, who woro a frock of black Cliantilly lace over silver lame; Mrs. G. W. Hutchison, black cobweb laco; Mrs. L. S.
