REPRESENTATIVE FIXTURE MATCH AGAINST WELLINGTON FINAL GAME FOR CHATHAM CUP An intimation from the Wellington Association that it. wiib agreeable to terms submitted led to the confirmation of the Auck-land-Wellington fixture, to bo played nl Wellington on August 13, at lust evening's meeting of tlio control board of the Auckland Football Association. The Now Zealand Council wrote stating that as the Y.M.C.A. Club had been defoaled in the Chatham Cup match against Hamilton Wanderers last Saturday, the North Island final of the competition between Hamilton Wanderers and Marist Club, Wellington, -would now be played at Hamilton, instead of Auckland, on August 20. A request from H.M.S. Dunedin for friendly matches met with favourable con-
sidevation. It was decided to arrange a match between the Dunedin and an Auckland team on Saturday week, -while the secretary was empowered to make arrangements for another fixture on Saturday. The committee decided to try to arrange a triangular contest this season between North Auckland, South Auckland and Auckland, both tho former associations to b» approached regarding tho matter.
