FOOTBALLERS INJURED
FRACTURE OF THE LEG [FHOM. OCR, OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI, Monday Whilo playing football at Maungaturoto on Saturday afternoon Mr. Hugh Snelling, aged 25, single, of Maungaturoto, recoived a fracture of the right leg. Ho was admitted to tho Whangarei Hospital. PLAYERS' ARMS FRACTURED MISHAPS IN SOUTH AUCKLAND [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Monday While playing for tho Taupiri llugby team against Hamilton at Ngaruawahia on Saturday, Alan Griffiths received a fracture of the right arm. Kenneth Jacka was admittod to tho Waikato Hospital with a fracture of the right arm, received whilo playing for a Hamilton High School team at tho school grounds.
