IRAK AND LEAGUE
REQUEST FOR MEMBERSHIP British Wireless RUGBY, July 29 A formal request that Irak should be admitted to the League of Nations has been made by Mr. Nuri, Irak Prime Minister, through the British Foreign Office. Sir John Simon, Foreign Secretary, lias asked the Secretary-General of the League to place 'the request on tho agenda of the September Assembly meeting.
