MUSICAL SOCIETY

A concert ami dramatic entertainment, the proceeds of which arc to be divided between the musical society'and the Henderson dental clinic, was given in tho local Town Hall recently by the Henderson Musical Society under tho leadership of Mr. W. Haythornthwaite. Hie concert was one of the best yet given by the society. Contributing to the pio gramme were Mrs. Hayes, pianoforte solo ; part son-s, the choir; vocal solos, Mes'dames Benoft. Hayes and Miss lan; cornet solos, Mr. Hayes; vocal duets Misses Parr and Roberts. Iwo one-act comedies were also given by members of the society, and these provided considerable amusement for the audience. The accompanist for the evening was Miss I'hylis Roberts.
