The Community Club held a most eniovablc afternoon in the Green Lane C onrregational Church Hall. The prcsii \ s IT L. .Toll, presided. A pianoforte 'dnet was rendered by Mrs. A very interesting demonstration of liteless cooking was givon by Miss Braidwood After tea had been served Mi. Whiting, minister of the Borcsford Street Congregational Church, was introduced bv Mr Jackson. Mr. Whiting explained to those present the good work being done by social workers at tho Beresford Street Church. A competition for The best article, from a «,guibag was won by Miss Gibb.
