PRESENTATION OF CUP CORDIAL FAREWELL SCENES ' EN ROUTE TO WELLINGTON By Telegraph—Pres3 Association—Copyright (Received July 29. 8.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 29 Tho All Blacks sailed by the Zealandia for Wellington this afternoon, taking the Bledisioo Cup with them. They wero given I a rousing send-off by Rugby Union officials and friends. The team was bidden farewell earlier at tho Hotel Wentworth when the cup was presented to Mr. W. J. Wallace, manager, on behalf of the New South Wales Rugby Union, by tho president, Mr. 11. D. Wood. In making the presentation Mr. Wood remarked that the team was one of tho youngest and cleverest ever sent to Australia. The members were equally as popular off the field as on it. Mr. Wallace, in reply, said the team Was extremely sorry to leave Australia where the hospitality had been so wonderful/ Oilier speakers were Sir James Parr, and Messrs. W. Hill, and L. J. Schmitt, New Zealand Trade Commissioner to Australia. The All Blacks had a jolly time last evening at the Sydney University Sports Union's ball where they were the guests of honour. A dozen girls gave them a surprise. Dressed in black football clothes, even to shorts, their jerseys buttoned at the side, and on their shoulders large silver buttons, with tiny black caps perched at the side of their heads, they danced their own creation—the All Blacks ballet.
