IMPROVEMENT AT FRANKTON. [from: our own correspondent. | HAMILTON. Tuesday. Tho beef market gavo pronounced evidence of revival at the Frankton yards to-day and farmers generally seemed greatly heartened by tho improvement. The quality of the entry was first-class, and buyors were given an inducement to bo generous, but, even allowing for this, the general level of prices was in advance of what was anticipated. Prime ox advanced 30s to 40a per head, raising tho value per 1001b. to from 20s to 21s. Heifer beef, too, of which soino excellent lota were offered, sold at advanced prices. Trucks of these averagod as high as £5 Its.
