CHRIST CHURCH BUSINESS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CTIRISTCHURCH. Saturday. The Christchurch Stock Exchange turnover for the five trading days this week, exclusive of mining shares, was only £2OOO. The Government loan section was fairly active with a turnover of £6950, practically nil tax-free issues. Price movements were slight, but indicated an" easier tendency. Sales were : —Banks 645, loai nppTirv 100 breweries 550, meat 400, mining 7300,' miscellaneous 400, total 9395.
