LINK WITH SCOTT.

It is stated that there is only one living person who saw and spoke to Sir Walter Scott. She is Miss Katharine Plunket. Miss Plunket was born on November 22, 1820, and is thus in her 112 th year. She sat 011 Scott's knee when lie visited her grandfather, Lord Plunket, at Bray, in County Wicklow, in July. 1825; but of the novelist she retains 110 recollection.
