GOOD LOOKS.

OIL THE WHEELS FOR BEAUTY! Good looks, just like machinery, respond wonderfully to a little lubricating, and you can't have a better oil for the purpose than olive oil. Get your skin into condition now to stand the cold and harsh winds of the coming months. Hero is a massage and mask treatment that works wonders, especially when the skin is dry. Warm somo olive oil by pouring it into a receptacle placed in a saucepan of boiling water. While it is heating cut a mask from lint. Make it long enough to wrap round the head and cut slits for the eyes and mouth. Sprinkle it liberally with the warm oil. Now press the mask well down over the face. When the oil is absorbed into the skin resprinkle the mask and press it in, place again. Do this three times, then remove the mask and well massage your oily skin. Finally wipe away all the oil, working gently, and end by sponging your face with water containing a few drops of astringent. Simple tincture of benzoin or witch hazel are both good. This treatment also benefits scaly elbows or arms which have been roughened by cold winds.
