BICYCLES COLLIDE.

TWO BOYS IN HOSPITAL.

ONE SERIOUSLY INJURED.

Severe injuries were received by two boys, Clyde Lipscombe, of 8, William Street, Onehunga, and Richard Harold Pullan, of Neilson Street, Onehunga, both aged 14, when the bicycles they were riding collided in Queen Street, Onehunga, shortly after 5 a.m. yesterday. Both boys lost their balance and fell heavily on to the roadway, Lipscombe suffering a fracture of tho skull and Pullan concussion. They were taken to tho Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and at a late hour last evening Lipscombe's condition was reported as being very serious. The other boy is not ill danger. At the time of the accident the hoys were on their way to gather mushrooms. They were riding abreast and lost their balance when one machine swerved into the other.
