The 42ft. cruising yacht Host less, owned by Mr. John McLean, of Wellington, loft Wellington at mid-day to-day for Auckland, on an extended winter cruise. The party comprises the owner, Mr. Miles Hamill, of Whakatane, who travelled to Wellington to take part in the cruise, Mr. Robert Prince and Colonel Scott. It is the intention of the party to make a cruise of North Auckland during tho winter. Advice has been received in Whakatane that the prospects for line weather' arc good. Tho yacht is well known in Auckland. It was built by Messrs. Tercel Brothers, of Auckland, a few years ago, and during their ownership won tho ocean race from Auckland to Tauranga.
