AN EVENING PARTY.
A very enoyablo party was given by Mrs. E. G. Rollo at her home on Tuesday evening for her guest, Miss Aira Rollo, of New Plymouth. Tho timo was pleasantly occupied with dancing and music. Mrs. Rollo wore a frock of black and green spotted crepe, do chine. Miss Aira Rollo wore blue and white voile.
Those present were: Miss Fiona. Ward, Miss Margaret Clayton-Greene, Miss Clare Clayton-Greene, Miss Margaret Rollo, Miss Mildred Elliott (Feilding), Miss Ella Penny, Miss Frances Lightbourno, Miss Merlo Banks (Tainahere). Personal. Miss R. Gorrie, of Auckland, is staying with Mrs. E. J. Mears. Miss Margaret Douglas and Miss Alice Wal lis are on a tour of North Auckland. Miss Margaret Bealo has returned from a holiday spent at Tauranga. Mjss Mildred Elliott, of Feilding, is the guest of Miss Merlo Banks, of Tamahere. Mrs. A. English, who has been on holidav in Auckland has returned. Mrs. .1. McKinnon and Mrs. Templar are at Cox's Bay, Raglan. Miss Ilosking, of Masterton, is visilitjg Hamilton, and is the guest of Mrs. J. Claehan.
Mrs. Garrard and Mrs. Oullin, of St. John's Avenue, Epsom, who have been on holiday at Rotorua, are now visiting the Waikato.
Miss Mary Gillies, who lias been visiting her aunt, Mrs. Peacocke, of Waipnkurau, has returned. Mrs. J. A. Young and Miss Iris Young have returned after spending some months in Wellington. Mrs. Rupert Worley is at the Thames coast.
