MOTOR-CYCLE ACCIDENTS.
TWO HOSPITAL CASES. Injuries to tho head were received by Mrs. W. Moreno, aged of 5, Glasgow Terrace, Grafton, as tho result of being thrown from tho pillion-seat of a motor-cycle at tho Remuera terminus shortly after 1 p.m. yesterday. Tho accident occurred when tho rider of the cycle was attempting to pass a car. Ho was forced to jam on his brakes suddenly and Mrs. Moreno was thrown heavily on the concreto road. Tho condition of the injured woman, who was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, was stated last evening to be not Serious. As tho result of a collision between the motor-cycle he was riding and a motortruck in Great North Road, near the Archhill post offico shortly after noon on Saturday, Mr. William Johnson Parker, aged 18, whoso homo is Astley Avenue, New Lynn, was admitted to the hospital suffering from head injuries and a lacerated hand. Ho was taken to the institution by tho St. John Ambulance. His condition was reported last evening to be not serious.
