IRISH SWEEP TICKETS.
LONG QUEUES IN DUBLIN. PRIZES TOTAL £2,000,000. DUBLIN. Nov. <2. Mile-long queues formed np this morning outside the three receiving depots for the Irish sweep ou the Manchester November Handicap. An army of 228 cashiers dealt, with tho last day's rush until noon, when a. fleet, of taxis rushed up additional clerks, 'ihe sweep staff totals 3500. The ticket-buyers included thousands of cross-Channel visitors, bearing large sums. Closing time, 6 p.m., was extended until late to-night. Tho prize fund is expected to approach £2.000,000, and the draw will be made on November 18. The Manchester November Handicap is Ihe last big event of tho flat-racing season in England. It, will be run on November 28, Die day on which the season closes.
