AIRWOMAN DIVORCED.
HUSBAND'S SUIT SUCCEEDS. (Received November 12. 9.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE. Nov. 12. Mr. George Keith Miller, journalist, has been granted a divorce on the ground of desertion by his wife, Jessie Maud Miller, a well-known airwoman, who is now residing at. New York. Mrs. Miller did not defend the suit.
Mrs. Miller, formerly Miss Beveridge. of St. lvilda, Melbourne, is 29 years old. Jn .April, 1927, she went to England and there met Captain W. N. Lancaster, with whom she flew to Australia. The flight was commenced on October .14, 192/, and Darwin was reached on March 19, 1928. Mrs. Miller and Captain Lancaster shortly afterwards went to America, where both have done considerable flying.
