THRONE FOR BISHOP.

CARVER'S WORK IN OAK. PLACE IN HAMILTON CATHEDRAL [FROM OCR OWN" CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Thursday. A magnificent episcopal throne has been installed by the Rt. Rev. C. A. Cherrington, Bishop of Waikato, m St. Peter's Cathedral, Hamilton.

The throne is of oak, and is a fine example of the carver's art. It is surmounted by a tall, richly-carved spire, and its decorations include wreaths of laurel and the coat of arms of the Waikato diocese.

It was built at Christchurch' and will be dedicated on Sunday.-
