DEGREE EXAMINATIONS.
APPROACHING SITTINGS, DIPLOMAS AND SCHOLARSHIPS. The university examinations -will b?:gin on November 2* for senior and TinEine scholarships, for degrees in arts, science, law, m#dicine, engineering, agriculture, forestry, commerce, music and hams science, for certificates of proficiency and diplomas for law and accountancy professional, banking, insurance and shipping. The local examinations will be held at the Auckland University College. The examinations for university entrance, entrance scholarships, medical, dental and engineering preliminary and accountants' preliminary, and medical professional, begin on December 1. The Auckland University College will be ths centre for the local December examinations. In addition, there will be the following sub-centres:—Scots Hall, Epsom Girls' Grammar School, the Auckland Girls' Grammar School, the Takapuna Grammar School, King's College and Sacred Heart College. All candidates for university entrance scholarships will be examined at the University College.
