ROTORUA NOTES.

HUNT CLUB BALL. The Rotorua Hunt Club members held their annual ball in the Majestic Cabaret on Friday evening when over 370 people were present. The ballroom was decorated with coloured streamers and balloons, these showing effectively against a background of large pungas and foliage, interspersed with rose pink camellias. Here and there evidence of the day's hunting was represented by the riders' saddles and riding crops. The decorations in the supper room were carried out in red and green colouring, the tables being arranged with streamers in these two shades. The music was supplied by Mr. Shalfoon and his Melody Boys. During the evening the prizes were presented by Mrs. 11. Bertram to the winners of the different events at the point-to-point meeting held on Wednesday.
