WRESTLING.
AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIPS. - The Auckland provincial amateur wrestling championships will be held at Scots Hall on October 14 and 15. Entries will close with either Mr. T. S. Miller, Professional Chambers, High Street, or Mr. T. W. Maben, Acacia Buildings, o'Connell Street, on Saturday week. The weight-limits for amateur wrestlers are as follows:—Fly, 7st. 101b.: bantam, fist. 121b.; feather, 9sf.; light, 10at.; welter, lOst. 71b.; middle, list. 41b.; lightheavy, 12st. 71b.; heavy, over 12st. 7lb.
