BOXING.
HUGHES-JOHNS CONTEST. Both Harry Johns and Archie Hughes have reputations to uphold when they meet at tho Town Hall on Monday evening and in doing so they should give patrons a fight worth 6eeing. As in the previous contest Johns' speed and cleverness and evasive ability will be offset by Hughes' aggressiveness and harder punching power, and. as usual when boxer meets fighter, thero should bo plenty of action. Wh:m these two boxers met before a cood contest was seen and p.s tlicy were so close together on points at tho finish it was natural that spectators held opposite views. Johns is keen to prove that the decision in his favour was not wrong, while Hughes is equally determined that he will avenge his previous defeat.
