WALKER DISQUALIFIED.

PINTO THROWN OUT OF RING. LIVELY BOUT IN WELLINGTON. [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON, Monday. There was a sensational opening and ending to the return wrestling contest between Gcorgo Walker and Stanley Pinto in tho Town Ilall this evening. Walker was disqualified in tho fifth round for throwing his opponent out of tho ring. Walker secured a fall in the first ten seconds of the match by diving at Pinto and knocking him over on his back. Pinto was taken completely by surprise and was knocked out. A section of the crowd did not approve of Walker's methods and hooted loudly.

Pinto had tho bettor of Hie second round, punishing Walker with head-locks and body-scissors. Thcro was sorno very exciting 1 work in Iho third round, in which Walker threw Pinto against tho ropes several times with head-locks. Early in the fourth round Pinto picked his opponent up and slammed him heavily to the mat, evening the falls. Walker camo out looking groggy in the fifth round and Pinto threw him through the ropes, the referee counting four before Walker returned to tho ring. Pinto then applied a head-lock but Walker picked him up and threw him right out of tho ring into tho crowd. It was some lime before Pinto was raised to his feet and ho stood against tho platform for some seconds with his head resting in his arms. When ho was assisted back into the ring tho referee held up his hand as a signal that Walker had been disqualified and tho contest awarded to his opponent.

MARSHALL BEATS PENCHEFE. LIVELY CONTEST AT HASTINGS. [lsl' TELEGRAM!,—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] HASTINGS, Monday. A strenuous and lively wrestling match took place at Hastings this evening, when 11. Marshall beat Pencheff by two falls to one. In tho third round Marshall secured a fall with a short-arm scissors. Pencheff evened with a body press in the fifth round. The deciding fall was gained by Marshall in tho sixth round with a body press.
