CONTEST IN OAMARU. REFORM CANDIDATE SELECTED. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] OAMARU. Monday. The selection of Mr. John Craigie Kirkness as tho official Reform candidate for Oamaru at tho general election was made to-day, consequent upon tho withdrawal of Sir. E. P. Lee. At present there aro only two candidates definitely in the field, Mr. J. A. Macpherson, the sitting member, and Mr. Kirkness. Tho Labour executive will select a candidate next Monday.
