PRAYERS FOR RAIN.
—— -cDRY SPELL IN OTAQO. The seriousness of the long spell of dry weather in North Otago is evident to all, said an Oamaru paper of Sittur day. A request has been made to the Ministers' Association that Bpecial inter cessions for rain might bo said at Sunday's services, and these will be offered in most of the churches. The ministers hope that people who are feeling the need of prayer in this time of necessity will join in these intercessions.
