WOMEN'S INSTITUTES.

MONTHLY MEETINGS. Te Kauwbala-Rangiriri.—lt was decided at a meeting of the Te Kauwhata and Rangiriri Institute to send to the Jubilee Institute for the Blind for a crate of goods to bo put on the sales table at the next meeting. A class for moccasin making was instructed by Mrs. Waterhouse, and tea was served by Mrs. Howard. Mrs. Sycamore and Miss Hansen. Warkworth.—A lecture upon the art of making speeches, also upon dramatic art, ■ was given by the president of the institute this week. Several recitations were much appreciated, and a competition held. Hostesses for tea were the members of the committee.
