GOVERNMENT'S ATTITUDE. WILLING TO SELL VESSEL. The willingness of tho Government to dispose of the motor vessol Maui Pomare, which is engaged in the Islands trade, is intimated in a letter received by the Auckland Chamber of Commerce from the Prime Minister, tho Right Hon. G. W. Forbes. "The Government would be prepared to consider an offer from private enterprise to take over the Maui Pomare, and to operate tho present service with Niue and Samoa, subject, of course, to satisfactory guarantees being forthcoming that the service would be continued as it is at present being carried out," said Mr. Forbes.
