BROOKE MEMORIAL.
UNVEILING CEREMONY. STATUE ON GREEK ISLAND. (Received April 0, 8.15 p.m.) LONDON. April C. 'To llupert Brooke, noble friend of Greece, and his immortal poetry," is the inscription at the baso of a nude statue of Brooke, erected by means of international subscriptions, which was unveiled to-iay with simplo ceremony at the island of Skyros. Thero were present international writers and poets. frofessor Lnscelles Abercrombio had previously recited one of Brooke's poems over the poet's grave.
