WORKERS' ARMY.
. WAR ON EMPLOYERS. ADOPTION OF SCHEME. NEW SOUTH WALES LABOUR. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. SYDNEY, April G. The committee of tho " Australian Labour Army " to-day submitted to the Easter Conference of tho New South Wales Labour Party a scheme for the formation of battalions, divisions and brigades for the organisation. The committeo proposed that all members of tho working class shall be eligible for membership upon payment of a fee of 6d each. A delegato interjected: llow many Lewis guns will that fee buy? The scheme was adopted. It was decided to boycott all employers who support the All For Australia League. The Chief Secretary of New South Wales, Mr. M. Gosling, was asked recently what the attitude of the Government was toward the movement of tho Australian Labour Conference to form the nucleus of a Red Army. "From what I can gather," said Mr. Gosling, "f.ho organisation formed by tho party intends to send out an army of propagandists to disseminato Labour's ideas. Freo speech will always bo safeguarded by the Labour Party. The Premier has repeatedly stated that this Government is quite capablo of meeting any situation that may ariso, and a Labour Government, backed by tho loyal support of tho movement, cannot bo provented by anyone from carrying out its policy. All this talk of physical force," added Mr. Gosling, "is repugnant to Anglo-Saxon ideas of constitutional government, and has been caused by tho disgruntled elements of tho Nationalist Parly."
