CROSSING FATALITY.

TRAIN STRIKES A CART. HORSE OUT OF CONTROL. [BY TELEGK.VPrr.— PRESS ASSOCIATION-] WELLINGTON, Saturday. A bolting horse, drawing a cart, and driven by Henry Lancely Newnes, aged about 50 years,' dealer, of Petoije, crashed into a train bound from the city, at the Petone crossing last evening. The horse was killed instantly. Mr. Newnes received severe concussion and died in hospital. Mr. Newnes was a married man with two grown-up children.
