HAWKE'S BAY EARTHQUAKE.
SPECIAL ISSUE PREPARED. PUBLICATION TO-MORROW. The publishers of the Auckland Weekly News announce further particulars of a special Hawke's Bay earthquaka number, which will be available to the public first thing to-morrow morning. As well as a complete account of tha whole disaster, the issue will contain an enlarged pictorial section devoted entirely to photographs secured in the stricken area. In all there will be 24 pages of illustrations. In addition to many startling views of the awful havoc in Hastings and the whole affected district,' there will bo several pages showing the refugees being evacuated, the rescue and relief work, and the splendid service rendered by the Navy.
Copies of the issue will bo on siale afc the Herald Office, Queen Street, sind at leading booksellers from eight o'clock tot morrow morning. This will enable those wishing to send copies overseas to catch a direct mail by the liner Taranaki to Great Britain, Ireland and the Continent of Europe, closing at the chief post office, Auckland, at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. By this mail the postage is one penny a copy. There will be no extra charge for this special issue. Copies will be available afc the usual price, ninepence.
