LOW-FLYING AIRMEN.
COMPLAINTS OF NUISANCE.
Residents of Purley, Carshalton, and Wallington, says an English newspaper, aro still suffering annoyance from lowtlying planes. Their particular bane is tho Sunday joy-rider, who, using a light machine, rarely ascends to a high altitudo.
People of Woodcoto Ward, said the deputy-clerk of Coulsdon and Purley Urban Council, aro the heaviest sufferers. They aro awakened early in tho morning by arriving and departing aeroplanes which seem to skim the tops of their houses. Repeated appeals to the Air Ministry have failed to produce any assurance of alterations. . An official at tho Air Ministry pointed out that strict regulations existed against " stunting " and low-flying.
