BRIDGE AFTERNOON.

A very enjoyable bridge afternoon, arranged by members of the Auckland Croquet Club, was held in the balcony rooms at Alilne and Choyce yesterday. Golden coloured shades over the lights and bowls of golden wattle gave a very attractive effect to the room. About 25 tables were in use and the players included:—Mrs. J. F. Shanly (president), Airs.
