SALES—BONER. ! St. Oswald's Church, Ono Tree Hill, I was the scene of tlio wedding on Satur- | day of Miss Mabel Mayo Boner, only i daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Boner, of Moata Road, Onebunga, to Mr. Christopher Ernest Sales, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Sales, of London. The Rev. R. Stanton officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of beech-brown satin beaute, with closely defined hip lines. The sleeves were long and tightly fitting, with a godet falling from the elbow over the under sleeve. The. bodice was finished with a. long scarf attached to the shoulder with a posy of contrasting colours and the skirt fell in uneven lengths to the ankles. A large bow, lined and edged with sunset flame satin, finished the hip line. Her closefitting hat was of French suede, the crown swathed in flame colouring. She carried a sheaf of flame-toned poppies and maidenhair fern. Miss Ethel Wood, who was sole bridesmaid, wore a gown of bois-de-roso crepe jeanette, with tiny pipings of lemon. Her large picture hat was of lemon felt, with the underbritn trimmed with tiny rose velvet flowers A shower bouquet of mimosa, daffodils and pink stocks was carried. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. A. B. Ramlell as best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, when Mrs. Boner received her guests wearing a frock of midnight-blue cire lace, draped on either side and caught at the waist with a diamante buckle.
