BANK STAFF DANCE.

ATTRACTIVE DECORATIONS. The staff of the National Bank of New Zealand, Limited, held a most, successful dance in the Amateur Operatic Society's Hall last evening. The rooms were brightly decorated with multi-coloured streamers and bowls of mimosa were placed on the stage, where Mr. Ted Morgan's Syncopaters played popular dance numbers. The ladies' committee comprised Aliss Ivy Jennings, who wore a frock of deep cream and rose floral taffeta with hem of net; Miss Moira Wright, beige georgette and satin bands; Aliss Downs, floral georgette; Aliss Mcllatlie, cau de nil georgette; Aliss E. Hitchings, leaf green lace and rose coloured shawl. Also members of the committee were Air. E. Brindloy, Air. E. Bishworth and Air. R. Williams. A demonstration of ballroom dancing was given by Aliss Ballantine and Air. Bruce, of the -Margaret O'Connor iStudio. Among those present, w-'ie: —"Irs. L.
