ATHENAEUM CLUB.

SUCCESSFUL AT HOME. The Athenaeum ' Club rooms presented a gay scene last evening when the members entert.iinecl their friends at a vevy successful At Home. In tlio vestibule graceful palms and greenery were placed, while in the lounge room cheery log fires were burning, and bowls of golden wattle added a colourful note. The danco room was transformed into a 11 oral bower with hanging wistaria flowers in tones of gold and green, and delicately-shaded Chinese lanterns. In the card room bridge was provided for thoso who were not dancing/ The music, which was supplied, by Edgar Bendall's Collegians, was much appreciated by the many dancers.
