FIRE IN FACTORY.
OUTBREAK AT WELLINGTON. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Wednesday. A fire this evening in the Clyde Chair Company's factory in Ebor Street caused considerable damage to the plant, building and stock. Being in a fairly busy part of the city the fire attracted a large crowd, which was dispersed by a sudden heavy downpour of rain. The flames had a good hold when tho alarm was given and the brigade had a strenuous task for 20 minutes in getting the flames under control.
