UNEMPLOYMENT.

Sir, —Would you allow me space to make a few suggestions re unemployment. The Government to supply freo of charge say three acres of suitablo land for gardening purposes to eacft bona fide family or single man, as the case may be; also one cow and poultry, tent or shack, blankets if necessary; also financial assistance for a period. Or perhaps better still to make a special collection of the whole of New Zealand, everyone to give whatever they could afford, the whole to be used in assisting the Government in above suggestions. I myself am only a wago earner lucky enough to bo in work, but will give £1 to start anything on above lines. Interested.
