COMBINED DANCE.
BOWLING AND CROQUET. The Mangero East Hall was gaily decorated on Wednesday evening with streamers and Chinese Lanterns for the annual dance and prize-giving of the Mangero Bowling and Croquet Club. Dancing, cards and danco competitions wero enjoyed and Miss Leod's Orchestra provided excellent music. Among those present wero:—Mrs. W. W. Massey, black georgette and Oriental trimming; Mrs. E. 11. Solomon, black silk lace, with diamanto trimming; Mrs. A. Prangley (junior), flame moire silk; Mrs. Tail, black crepe de chine; Mrs. L. Studd, grey chiffon taffeta; Mrs. F. Crocker (Sydney), black beaded georgotto; Miss C. Reynolds, flamo taffeta; Miss B. Reynolds, piril: georgette and silver lace; Mrs. J. A. Granger, fawn crepo do chine; Miss L. Pheasants, pink crepe de chine and satin; Miss P. Reeves, black taffeta; Miss P. Blandford, black, witli blue overdress; Miss Reynolds, floral georgette; Miss Robertson, scarlet, georgette, with diamante trimming; Miss Gladys Newson, cyclamen frilled georgette; Mrs. A. Lcoway, pervanche-bluo georgette and lace; Miss L. Wood, sunset taffeta, trimmed with gold; Miss V. Brenneu, pale green crepe do chine, wit 1) uneven hemline; Miss Tims, black ring velvet; Miss R. Reeves, black velvet, with bullion buckle; Miss B. Solomon, turquoise-blue georgelt"; Miss I. Montgoinerie, salmon georgette; Miss B. Newson, eau-de-nil georgette; Miss 1. Pheasant, ecru hue over green; Miss Slowie, bluo crepo do chine; Mrs. L. Prangley, ceiiso taffeta and silver; Mrs. Penman, black georgette; Mrs. G. Laslett. lemon marocain and fur wrap; Mrs. L. Studd, grey chiffon taffeta.
